A.K.A. Isopropyl Alcohol

This alcohol is used for rinsing the extra resin off of your prints after you pull them from the Vat, as it will dissolve uncured resin. It is also used for general cleaning of your tools and workspace.

Use the 70% (or greater but follow standard precautions) solution without dyes or perfumes.

It is safe to touch, although using gloves will make things more pleasant overall.

Do not drink- it's not that kind of alcohol. Turns to acetone in the liver.  Always heed any labeled product cautions and warnings.

It can be used to safely wipe clean the PDMS in the Vat but do not apply it to the acrylic surfaces as it may case it to crack or chip.  Be sure to let it dry before adding resin.

You can buy it at any drug store or supermarket in the U.S. It costs $2-3 per liter/quart.
